Essex Solutions has rebranded its Fort Wayne chemical processing operation as IVA USA, bringing it into the global IVA Insulations network alongside locations in France and China. The transition connected established North American manufacturing capabilities with broader expertise in polymer chemistry, materials engineering, and technical development.

The rebrand addressed a growing need for regional material availability as manufacturers have shifted or expanded production from Europe and Asia into North America. IVA USA provides a local source for materials that meet the consistency and performance requirements of global manufacturing programs.

“The transition to IVA USA is a positive step for our customers and the markets we serve,” said Jared Rowntree, President, North America, Essex Solutions. “It strengthens our ability to combine technical expertise with dependable manufacturing support and respond more effectively to evolving application requirements.”

As part of the IVA Insulations network, IVA USA began working across regions to identify common material requirements and align offerings where appropriate.

“Our global portfolio includes a wide range of materials developed for different regions and applications,” said Luz Ayala, Product Engineer. “By identifying where those solutions share similar characteristics, we can reduce complexity, support greater standardization, and help customers establish more consistent specifications across their operations.”

This coordinated approach can simplify material qualification, reduce unnecessary variation, and create greater consistency for engineering and procurement teams.

IVA USA has the production capacity to support customers as they expand their North American operations and respond to evolving market demand.

Collaboration with IVA teams in France and China has supported further process automation, improved throughput, shared manufacturing practices, and expanded materials research. The IVA USA’s dedicated Technical Center also helps move solutions from evaluation into production for automotive, energy, and industrial applications.

“For nearly a century, our magnet wire operations have demonstrated resilience and continuous improvement, supported by more than 50 years of chemical and magnet-wire insulation expertise,” said Dr. Tamanna McFarland, Technical and Operations Director. “The transition to IVA USA and Technical Center brought those capabilities together with a focus on technical collaboration, responsible manufacturing, and measurable customer value.”

McFarland assumed leadership of IVA USA and Technical Center’s continued development, supported by Operations Manager Timothy Jones and the Fort Wayne headquarters team. The operation remains focused on responsible manufacturing, data-driven decision making, and continued investment in its employees, equipment, and community.

The IVA USA rebrand strengthened the vertical integration behind Essex Solutions’ magnet wire solutions and established a stronger platform for materials development, regional production, and global technical collaboration.
