Four plants in both North America and Europe, as well as two in Asia Pacific, achieved Zero Waste to Landfill certification. Across our entire operational footprint, we have achieved a 98% diversion rate.
We have reduced our Scope 2 carbon emissions by 25%, the equivalent production to 68,593 acres of forestry. This progress also directly supports the sustainability goals of our customers.

Zero Waste to Landfill
Our goal is to achieve ZWTL status across magnet wire plants, metals processing facilities, and chemical processing locations, and to maintain this status through 2030 and beyond. To achieve ZWTL, at least 98% of waste leaving a facility must be diverted from landfills, including waste handled by downstream material management organizations.

Essex Solutions has established a Corporate Social Responsibility reporting process for all stakeholders. Through consistent communication efforts we are able to establish transparency both internally and externally. We created a Sustainability Leadership Council to track ongoing impact reductions, develop a Corporate Sustainability Report and further our commitments to social responsibility.

This approach is one that is actively conscious about procuring products in ethical, sustainable, and socially conscious ways. We also hold ourself accountable to understanding the impacts of our supply chain including investigating potential risks, opportunities for improvement, and information gaps as well as communnicating them to all stakeholders.

Because copper extraction and supply chain activity have the greatest influence on the company's carbon footprint, Essex Solutions continues to advance responsible sourcing through The Copper Mark Assurance process.
